The flats of Belize are considered to be some of the best saltwater fishing grounds in the world. If you are looking to hook into bonefish, permit tarpon, or snook, this is the place to be. Local guides will take you to the best areas and put you on top of the fish - from there it is up to you. Experienced fishermen are on the lookout at all times for barracudas, jacks and snook for your protection. Fishing includes a full day or a half-day of professionally guided fishing in flats, fly, spin, reef, or a combination of your choice. Maximum of two persons permitted per boat (package price). It is always advisable to have two rods when fishing the flats - one for permits/tarpon and one for bonefish.

Reef Fishing
Travel out on the second largest barrier reef in the world with an experienced, local fisherman in search of the local catch of the day. The assortment of fish caught might include snapper, grouper, jacks, barracuda or who knows what! Your guide will bring along bait and an ice chest with water. You bring the rod, reel and tackle.

Deep Sea Fishing
Ride aboard a tournament champion boat, which is fully equipped with a cabin, a captain's fishing chair, outriggers, and down riggers. Troll up to seven lines at the same time and go for blue marlin, white marlin, dolphin, tuna, king mackerel, black groupers, and Wahoo. Because of the closeness of reefs, the fishing grounds are up to depths of six hundred to over one thousand feet. Here you will be able to try your luck at the end of the rod and reel to catch your fish of a lifetime.

Fishing, Snorkeling, and Beach BBQ
This trip is a combination of snorkeling the Mexico Rocks and Tres Cocos, fishing, and a beach barbeque on the northern part of the island. Be sure you have on your fisherman hat because whatever you catch is what you eat. So if you do not catch anything, then no lunch. Just kidding! The guide will ensure that you get a delicious plate of fresh seafood along with a vegetable salad and potatoes.
